As Sous Chef, you’ll be a key part of the kitchen team, working alongside the Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

You’ll play a vital role in:

• Crafting delicious and nutritious meals, catering to residents’ individual preferences and dietary needs.
• Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, adhering to all regulations.
• Leading and mentoring the kitchen team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Managing stock control and ordering, minimising waste and optimising costs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef, ideally within a care home or similar environment.
• A real passion for food and culinary excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and work flexibly.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Ability to commute to Basingstoke daily.
• Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
