Catering Assistant – Brockenhurst
£14.24 per hour including holiday | Flexible working | Weekly pay

We’re recruiting a Catering Assistant for flexible opportunities in Brockenhurst, ideal if you’re looking for work that fits around your availability. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of Catering environments while gaining valuable experience and access to potential temp to perm positions.

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll support the smooth running of daily operations by:

• Assisting chefs with food preparation, including peeling, chopping and portioning
• Supporting food and drink service and assisting customers
• Setting up and clearing tables and dining areas
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Receiving, checking and storing deliveries
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Supporting customers with dietary and allergen requirements

What we’re looking for:

To succeed as a Catering Assistant, you’ll need:

• An Enhanced DBS
• An Allergens certificate
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• High standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• The physical stamina to work on your feet and handle manual tasks
• Good attention to detail, particularly around food safety and allergens
• A customer-focused approach
