Your role as Assistant Restaurant Manager

You will support the day-to-day running of a 160-cover restaurant, ensuring consistently high standards across the main dining area, private dining spaces and courtyard service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Restaurant Manager with daily operations
• Leading service and being visible on the floor
• Managing rotas, team organisation and performance
• Overseeing stock takes and weekly ordering
• Handling guest feedback confidently and professionally
• Supporting wage cost control and weekly targets
• Maintaining health & safety and operational standards

This Assistant Restaurant Manager role is hands-on and service-led – you will be integral to developing the team and elevating the guest experience.

What we’re looking for

To succeed as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ management or supervisory experience within a reputable restaurant
• Experience managing rotas and running shifts
• Confidence with booking systems (SevenRooms or similar)
• Bar knowledge including hot drinks and cocktails
• Experience with stock control and back-office systems
• Strong guest engagement and complaint handling skills
• Most importantly, you will bring energy, professionalism and a genuine passion for restaurant service and story telling to guests
