Key responsibilities

As a Hotel Receptionist, your duties will include:

• Welcoming guests and providing a friendly, professional first impression.
• Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Handling guest enquiries in person and over the telephone.
• Managing bookings, reservations and guest information.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
• Responding to guest requests and helping resolve any issues.
• Liaising with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous reception, front-of-house or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, approachable and helpful manner.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment.
• Good IT skills and the ability to learn new booking systems.
• A flexible and reliable approach to work, including short-notice shifts.
