The main restaurant is open for both breakfast and dinner, offering diners an array of mouthwatering modern British meals from its à la carte menu. Dishes are made using locally sourced produce. A typical Saturday evening can see the restaurant catering for 100 covers or more, whilst a separate all-day dining menu runs from the bar area, offering guests a selection of lighter meals and snacks.

The hotel has good public transport links with a bus stop at the end of the driveway, too.

What’s involved?

We’re looking for a passionate and organised chef with previous experience of working in banqueting, events, or high-volume kitchens. This Banqueting Chef de Partie role involves preparing for and executing a wide range of banqueting and event catering, ensuring every dish meets high standards. Your main duties will involve preparing, cooking, and presenting food for conferences, weddings, and private events, assisting with stock control, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting team members and collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences during busy periods.

Although you will predominantly be working in banqueting, the successful Banqueting Chef de Partie should be willing to support other kitchen areas where needed and contribute ideas for menu development.
