We’re recruiting a Catering Assistant for a 5-week placement in Brockenhurst, starting 26th October. Working Monday to Friday from 09:30-15:00, this is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities:
You’ll support the smooth running of daily operations by:
- Assisting with food preparation, including peeling, chopping and portioning
- Supporting food and drink service
- Setting up and clearing tables and dining areas
- Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Receiving, checking and storing deliveries
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Supporting customers with dietary and allergen requirements
What we’re looking for:
To succeed as a Catering Assistant, you’ll need:
- An Enhanced DBS
- An Allergens certificate
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- High standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- The physical stamina to work on your feet and handle manual tasks
- Good attention to detail around food safety and allergens
- A customer-focused approach
