This Sales Manager role in Ashford, Kent is ideal for an experienced sales professional looking to take the next step with a well-established hotel group. You’ll have the support of the General Manager and Group Director of Sales, with plenty of scope to develop new business, manage key accounts and grow revenue across the Corporate, MICE and Leisure markets.

Key Responsibilities

In this Sales Manager role, you’ll be responsible for driving commercial performance and developing strong client relationships.

• Generate new business across Corporate, MICE and Leisure markets
• Manage and develop existing client accounts
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue
• Build and maintain a strong local business network
• Lead and support the Meeting and Event Sales Manager
• Use strong negotiation and account management skills to achieve results
• Work strategically to identify new opportunities and drive growth
• Represent the hotel confidently at meetings, networking events and client visits

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially focused sales professional with a strong background in hospitality.

• Minimum 2 years’ hotel sales experience in a similar role
• Proven Sales Management experience within hospitality
• Strong knowledge of Corporate, MICE and Leisure markets
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
• Confident, well presented and highly motivated
• Strong account management and negotiation skills
• A proactive, ‘go-getter’ approach to developing new business
• Valid driving licence, as the role involves regular travel and client visits
