We’re recruiting a Night Porter in Birmingham for an exciting opportunity at a well-established hospitality venue. This role offers a varied position where you’ll support guests, assist with events, and help ensure the smooth running of a busy hotel and conference operation.

Key Responsibilities
As a Night Porter, you will play an important role in the overnight operation by:
- Checking guests in and out of the venue
- Running the nightly audit process
- Setting up and clearing rooms for conferences, weddings, and events
- Preparing and serving room service orders
- Assisting with bar service when required
- Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Cleaning conference rooms and public areas
- Completing night-time fire and safety checks
- Taking telephone calls and reservations
- Supporting general front office duties
What we’re looking for
To be successful as a Night Porter, you should have:
- Previous experience as a hotel night porter
- Experience using Guestline Rezlynx hotel management systems
- Experience setting up and breaking down conference and function rooms
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A proactive and reliable approach
- Flexibility to support different departments as required
