Senior Sous Chef – £45,000 – Cirencester – Boutique Hotel

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Senior Sous Chef to help lead our skilled kitchen team at this Boutique Hotel in the heart of Cirencester.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a busy, well-equipped kitchen, working closely with our talented Head Chef to deliver exceptional food across a diverse and dynamic menu.

Key responsibilities
As Senior Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and leading from the front. Your duties will include:

• Supporting the Head Chef with the smooth operation of all kitchen services
• Maintaining high standards across food quality, presentation, and consistency
• The ability to follow recipes while adding energy and precision to every dish
• Overseeing food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
• Managing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
• Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members
• Taking full responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
