Bar & Restaurant Manager in Hitchin | £36,500 + Tronc (up to £10k) + Bonus

I am recruiting for an iconic high quality, high volume venue in Hitchin. This role offers ownership of the day-to-day operation and a clear path into senior management through their progression program.

The Package:

• £36,500 basic + Upto 10,000 in Tronc + additional bonuses
• WSET Level 1 & 2 training provided
• Local and international supplier trips
• wine at cost, meals on shift, and additional days off annually
• Generous staff rates across all sites

The Role:

• Manage and develop the front-of-house and bar teams
• Oversee daily operations, rotas, and training
• Manage budgets, costs, and KPIs to maximize profitability
• Maintain high service standards
• Coordinate with the kitchen and senior management to drive growth

Requirements:

• Current Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant Manager ready for a step up
• Experience in busy, high-quality restaurant and bar environments
• Solid commercial awareness
• Strong knowledge of wine
