We’re looking for a Catering Assistant in Hull to join our vibrant food service teams. This is a great role for anyone who enjoys a hands-on environment and wants flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll help keep operations running smoothly:

• Food Preparation: Assist chefs with peeling, chopping, washing vegetables, making sandwiches, and portioning meals
• Service & Front of House: Set up and clear tables, serve food and drinks, take orders, handle cash, and manage dietary requests
• Cleaning & Hygiene: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment; clean work surfaces, floors, and dining areas; follow hygiene regulations
• Stock & Deliveries: Receive, check, and store deliveries; manage supplies
• Customer Service: Provide friendly service and ensure a positive experience for all guests

What we’re looking for:
We need Catering Assistants who are:

• Team players with strong communication skills
• Committed to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift when needed
• Able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail, especially around food safety and allergies
• Customer-focused and friendly in all interactions
