An exciting opportunity has become available for an Agency Chef near Middlesborough, offering reliable hours, weekly pay, and a strong focus on work-life balance. This role suits a skilled Chef De Partie-level professional who enjoys high-volume service while working within a well-organised and supportive kitchen team.

- Experience working within a large-scale catering operation near Catterick, serving up to 1,000 covers, three times per day
Key responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining standards in a fast-paced kitchen, including:
- Managing and running your designated kitchen section
- Preparing and presenting dishes to required quality standards
- Organising mise en place to support smooth service
- Supervising and training junior kitchen staff
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Monitoring stock levels, controlling portions, and reducing waste
- Working closely with the team to ensure consistency and efficiency
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a reliable and organised professional with:
- Strong cooking skills at Chef De Partie level or equivalent
- Consistency and attention to detail in presentation and quality
- Good time management and the ability to work under pressure
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Leadership skills to support and guide junior team members

- Excellent organisational skills.
