Key Responsibilities:
In this varied and operational role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Maintaining exceptional Housekeeping standards across guest rooms and public areas
- Leading, motivating, and developing the housekeeping and porter team
- Managing team rotas in line with business demands
- Supporting the Estate Housekeeping Manager and ensuring SOPs are followed
- Working hands-on with Cleaning duties during busy periods, including rooms, public areas, and laundry
- Inspecting rooms and communal areas to meet 4-5 star standards
- Managing stock levels, reporting maintenance issues, and responding to guest requests
What we’re looking for:
To succeed in this Assistant Housekeeping Manager position, you’ll ideally bring:
- Availability to work shifts between 8am and 5pm, 40 hours per week
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a large hotel or resort operation
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- A hands-on approach, comfortable balancing operational Cleaning tasks with administration
- A solid understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
