What you’ll be doing
Supporting the Head Chef to deliver high-quality dishes across restaurant, bar and guest dining services
Preparing and plating dishes with consistency, creativity, and attention to detail
Managing a kitchen section during service and supporting other sections as required
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation
Contributing ideas for seasonal menus, specials and guest-focused dishes inspired by coastal and local ingredients
What we’re looking for
Proven experience as a Sous Chef (or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up) in a busy hotel, restaurant or coastal hospitality environment
Skilled in high-volume service and quality food preparation
Strong teamwork, communication and organisation – comfortable working across different services (restaurant, bar, hotel guests)
A passion for good produce, seafood/coastal cuisine or locally inspired menus – appreciating what the location offers rather than standard chain-hotel food
