What you’ll be doing:
As the Lead Chef, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day kitchen operations at this popular café. Your responsibilities will include:
Planning, prepping and presenting high-quality dishes
Creating menus that reflect seasonal produce and customer preferences
Leading a small kitchen team and overseeing rotas
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
Managing stock, suppliers and kitchen budgets
Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth service
Driving improvements in customer experience and footfall through creative specials and feedback
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Chef with a strong understanding of kitchen management and food safety, along with the creativity to develop engaging café menus. You’ll need:
A passion for fresh food and seasonal ingredients
Proven experience in a kitchen leadership or Kitchen Manager role
Strong understanding of HACCP and food hygiene compliance
