Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a contract catering company on Guernsey who service one of the UKs most well-known brands and they are looking for a Head Chef to lead their kitchen team for the restaurant at their HQ.

• This contract caterer is based on Guernsey and their main account is with one of the most well known brands in the UK who have their corporate HQ on the island.
• This means that you won’t be working in a typical ‘staff canteen’! Instead you will be running the open kitchen in their corporate restaurant that feeds the 200 staff of all levels.
• With working hours of 7am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday, this is a job for a talented Sous Chef looking to make a step up or a Head Chef looking for that elusive work life balance.

What’s involved?

• 
  As Head Chef for this corporate restaurant, you will work closely with the owner of the catering company in ensuring the reputation for first class dining is maintained while filling the brief given by the client.
• Part if your role will be to monitor portion size, costing, Health and Safety and minimise waste.
• With a blue chip client comes certain expectations which you will look to exceed on a prompt efficient manner
• Like any Head Chef worth their salt you will be an excellent communicator and manager who can get the best out of the team by treating them in a respectful manner
• You will be financially aware and keep costs within given parameters
