Key Responsibilities
Working as part of the kitchen team, you will help deliver a high standard of food and service across a busy school catering operation.
- Prepare and serve food to a high standard
- Support the kitchen team across daily service
- Work across the hot counter service for up to 400 covers
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Follow food safety and allergen procedures
- Work effectively across the rotating shift pattern
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar catering environment and be confident working as part of a busy team.
- Previous experience as a Chef or Chef de Partie
- Enhanced DBS issued within the last 3 months or registered on the Update Service
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety
- Available Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 weekends
- Able to drive due to the location
- Flexible approach to the rotating shift pattern
The Monday to Friday shifts rotate weekly between 07:30-14:30, 10:00-18:00 and 11:30-19:00. Weekend shifts are 10:00-18:30.
